“We hope to get at least six cabins soon from the state government to ensure the pupils can study in a better environment,” Sree Thren added.
The school, which is more than 60 years old, has about 1,258 pupils.
In the fire on June 19, at least seven classrooms and several rooms, including the school’s living skills, sports, remedial, counselling, textbook and special pupils’ rooms, were destroyed.
